This is a family-friendly Torc Mountain hike along an easy graded route over 3 hrs and about 8km.
A spectacularly scenic trek in the Killarney National Park, it provides stunning views from the summit over the Lakes of Killarney and Killarnney Valley. During your climb, our experienced mountain guides will share local knowledge and information on this truly special place, providing encouragement and guidance during your hike.
The guide will lead the pace on the day. If, for any reason, the guide feels it is not safe to summit, there is no guarantee of summiting. Safety is always priorty.

Safety, Clothing and Food
- This hike, while being family friendly, requires a basic level of fitness. You will require suitable footwear and clothing, a packed snack and be ready for an adventure!
- Caution is advisable on all mountain terrain. Please bring

- The walking trail can be wet and slippery after heavy rainfall, so caution is always advised.
- It is advisable to carry extra layers/clothing for this walk particularly on summit.
- Hats and gloves are advisable all year round.NO JEANS
- Water, food and snacks are important.
