Traverse Ireland's most incredible ridge terrain, taking in Ireland's three highest peaks. Guided by locals Tomás O'Donoghue and Killian Buckley, co-founders of the International guiding agency Citizens of the Wild, they are both highly experienced mountaineers, who have climbed and guided at the top level in some of the world's hardest-to-reach places over the past decade.
The guide will lead the pace on the day. If, for any reason, the guide feels it is not safe to summit, there is no guarantee of summitting. Safety is always priorty.

Safety, Clothing & Food
- Climbing Carrauntoohil is a strenuous hike and requires a good level of fitness. Caution is advisable on all mountain terrain.
- Hiking boots with ankle support and Rain gear is a necessity as weather can be unpredictable.
- Backpack for each climber
- The hiking trail can be wet and slippery after heavy rainfall, so caution is advised
- It is advisable to carry extra layers/clothing for this hike particularly on summit.
- Hats and gloves are advisable all year round. NO JEANS
- Bring water, food and snacks for the day.Sunscreen!
- Change of clothes for after the hike

- This is private land and trekers must adhere to Country Code - "No dogs, no litter"
- We support the “Leave No Trace” anti-litter and environmental protection campaign.

- If you have any problem with Vertigo, this may not be the activity for you as the descent is very steep.
