Outdoor Rock Climbing Experience in the Gap of Dunloe

Even if you've never climbed before, nothing beats the feeling of conquering your fears and challenging yourself with this amazing sport, all the while taking in the spectacular views of the Gap of Dunloe, Ireland's most famous glaciated valley.

What to expect from a climbing session with Roam Wild:

- Safety and important equipment

- Fundamental knots and ropework

- Learn to tie in and belay

- Essential movements and technique

- Identifying routes and climbing grades

- Abseiling and lots of climbing!

Sunday Afternoon Rock Climbing is ADD/ADHD friendly 
 
Please note:
Wander Wild Festival works with selected local outdoor service providers to deliver our outdoor activities. In order to participate in these activities, participants will be required to provide information about those participating in the event and to comply with the service provider’s terms and conditions.

Please wear comfortable clothing that won't restrict movement and trainers you won't mind possibly getting scuffed.

We have climbing shoes that can be borrowed but size selection is limited.

Please also bring an adequate supply of drinking water and a snack if needed.

Please inform us of any health conditions or pre existing injuries in advance. 

Park at Kate Kearney's Cottage, Walk into the Gap of Dunloe to the First Bridge where you will meet your guide (8 min walk!)
