Embark on the Blue Pool Autism Friendly Walk with us – the walk will be supported with a guide and trained volunteers from the Autism Friendly Killarney committee.
We will take you through the sights and sounds of the wonderful quiet woodland trail at the Blue pool in a relaxed environment suitable for all the family.
The Blue pool loop trails gently through the towering trees, meanders over stream crossings and into the lush woodland.
This enchanting journey offers a perfect blend of serenity and adventure creating cherished moments to treasure.
We are working with Autism Friendly Killarney & AsIAm – a national organisation that advocates, assists and elevates the awareness and action on Autism in Ireland
Various members within our team have completed training with AsIAm in advance of the Wander Wild Festival. It is our goal that all Wander Wilders will be able to experience the festival in comfort and with the minimum of anxiety.

Safety, Clothing & Food
- Walking boots/shoes and rain gear are advisable as weather can be unpredictable.
- The walking trail can be wet and slippery after heavy rainfall, so caution is advised
- Hats and gloves are advisable depending on weather. No Jeans
- Bring water and a snack

- All trekers must adhere to Country Code - "No dogs, no litter"
- We support the “Leave No Trace” anti-litter and environmental protection campaign.
Wander Wild Festival works with selected local outdoor service providers to deliver our outdoor activities. In order to participate in these activities, participants will be required to provide information about those participating in the event and to comply with the service provider’s terms and conditions.
