Whether you are completely new to yoga or have a strong practice and want to deepen your flexibility this workshop has something for everyone.
It focuseson both flexibility and mobility through the hips and allows you to create afreedom of movement and a sense of ease in the body. The first part of the workshop will begin with a vinyasa flow to warm up your body with a mixture of both strength and flexibility work to allow you to build a strong foundationfor your practice.
Expect drills and mobility work along with deep long holds towarm up your hips. Once your body is warmed up we will move a little slower and we will use various drills to allow you to explore your flexibility.
We will break down some of the deeper hip opening poses by using props and exploring various progressions and modifications to find the variation that works for your practice and your body.
This workshop is designed to allow you to move slowly and explore your hipmobility and flexibility with confidence and allow your body to feel supported.
Working deep into the hips will help you let go of not only the physical tensionbut also helps to release mental and emotional stress as many of our deepemotions are held in the lower body.
Enjoy a long blissful savasana to end the workshop to allow the body to rest and absorb all the benefits of your practice.
