Guests will depart from Ross Castle and traverse Lough Leane, Killarneys largest lake, to the foot of Tomies Mountain. The boat will land and guests will be afforded ample time to enjoy the beauty of Tomies Wood and the serene O'Sullivan's Cascade. From here guests will board the boat once more and enjoy a tour along the mountain shore where if lucky, they will see white tailed sea eagles. The boat will then motor to Innisfallen Island. The island offers guests the opportunity to visit one of Ireland’s oldest monastic settlements while also enjoying the scenery of the Lakes of Killarney. Guests will disembark and visit the ruins for 20 minutes before returning to the boat. The boat will then depart and return to Ross Castle. While onboard, your captain will provide a full guided tour.
Ross Castle Boat Tours is a family run business. Mike and Tony are fourth generation boat men and provide all visitors with an intimate guided tour on the beautiful Lakes of Killarney. The use of humour and Irish ‘wit’ is a key component of the trip and ensures this is a truly unique experience.
